The Route
Trevor's solo circumnavigation will cover 22,554nm, with 27 stops in 18 countries. The route has been carefully planned and reviewed by the flight advisory team. The trip is scheduled to begin in March 2021 from the Space Shuttle Landing Facility at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The route was determined by researching general aviation friendly airports worldwide. Careful consideration of fuel accessibility, landing fees, permits and handling services influenced the selection of each destination. The experiences and expertise of other pilots who have completed circumnavigations were given high priority in planning this route in order to mitigate any uncertainties with airports or destinations. Maintenance facility locations were also considered.
The planned route is tentative.
